I trained as a neuroscientist; now I work with ink and paper.

Most mornings I draw from a photograph in that day's newspaper. This site is the record of that.

I also wrote Born Strong, a book about premature birth and the NICU, after both my children were born too early. It is published in English, Dutch and Portuguese.
